Mortgage Business Analyst
Job Description SummaryAs a Mortgage Business Analyst I working for Taylor Morrison you will compile, analyze and interpret data to make tactical recommendations to our business. You will apply descriptive statistical data to mortgage operations and present recommendations.
We trust that as a Mortgage Business Analyst I you will: (responsibilities)
Provides detailed project requirements for complex projects to support business goals and objectives
Tracks project tasks to completion and proactively escalates variances
Facilitates business requirements gathering, understanding of needs and gaps, and documents for developing solutions with customers of all levels
Follows Project Management processes and practices from initiation, requirements, prioritizing, planning, development, tracking, and testing
Supports business users on functional applications and can provide associated training in new features and functionality
You are willing to perform other duties as assigned
What you will need: (competencies, behaviors & attributes)
Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Project Management or area of study related to Business Acumen (e.g. Finance, Construction, Marketing, Economics)
Strong communication and written skills
Detailed oriented and highly analytical
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables over more than one project simultaneously
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to manage requirements gathering sessions and prepare clear and concise documentation to internal or external development team members
Some occasional travel required

This position is considered a non-exempt position for purposes of wage-hour law, which means that you will be required to keep a time record and will be eligible for overtime pay.

Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule
Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device
Ability to have face to face conversations with customers, co-workers and higher level manager
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed
Ability to operate a motor vehicle if applicable
Comply with company policies and procedure
Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
*Taylor Morrison experience and/or successful completion of training program may override required education and/or experience requirement.
